Can you certify this translation?

Documents used in a legal capacity in Thailand must be certified. Certification means that the translation is said to be accurate as judged by the government of Thailand. The process requires the translator to sign for the translation and take it along with a certified copy of the original (or the actual document itself) to the Thai government for notarization. There is a fee which the government charges for this service. A translator or translating agency by itself cannot 'certify' a document for legal use because it must be notarized by the Thai government.

How much will it cost?

Many factors influence the price of a translation, including the word count or number of pages, type of document (official wording or specific vocabulary? casual conversation?) and other factors. We are happy to provide a quote for you, please contact us and send an attachment of the document(s) for translation. A sample will do, but if possible we would like to see the whole document to give you an accurate quote. Confidentiality agreements are happily signed for you at your request.

How long will it take?

While every effort will be made to return your translated documents to you as soon as possible, we emphasize quality of work which requires the documents to not only be translated but reviewed and checked as well.
