Can you certify this translation?
Documents to be used at Thai institutions (birth certificates, house registration documents, death certificates, etc.) must be certified by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). Certification in these cases means that the translation is said to be accurate as judged by the government of Thailand. The process requires the translator to sign for the translation and take it along with a certified copy of the original (or the actual document itself) to the Thai MFA for certifcation. Please contact us with your request should you need this type of service. For documents used at various embassies located in Bangkok, a stamp by the local translating agency is usually acceptable. We can arrange this type of certification for you without extra cost.
How much will it cost?
Many factors influence the price of a translation, including the word count or number of pages, type of document (official wording or specific vocabulary? casual conversation?) and other factors. We are happy to provide a quote for you, please contact us and send an attachment of the document(s) for translation. A sample will do, but if possible we would like to see the whole document to give you an accurate quote. Confidentiality agreements are happily signed at your request.
How long will it take?
While every effort will be made to return your translated documents to you as soon as possible, we emphasize quality of work which requires the documents to not only be translated but reviewed and checked as well.
